We are excited to sponsor Hyperion Robotics for the third time. This sponsorship highlights our commitment to supporting innovation and technology. Hyperion Robotics is an interdisciplinary student team at the University of Western Macedonia, founded in 2014, with the main objective to research and participate in worldwide robotics competitions. The team has represented Greece three times at the World Robot Olympiad and four times at the European Robotics Competition.
This year, the team represented Greece at the Eurobot 2024, which was held in France, from 8-11 of May 2024. The theme of this year's competition was "FARMING MARS", arising from the need to create a long-lasting autonomous greenhouse on the surface of Mars. The greenhouse must provide the right conditions for growing fruits and vegetables. Participating teams are tasked with constructing and programming a fully autonomous robot aimed at collecting plastic plants and placing them in metal pots.
